Sentraway

Every disapproved product, found, explained and fixed.

Sentraway scans your Google Merchant Center account, identifies every product Google has disapproved, explains each issue in plain language, and applies corrections so your products start showing again.

A disapproved product earns nothing. It runs no ads and appears in no free listings. Most merchants never find out, because the reason is buried in Merchant Center behind an error code.

One Google permission. Product data only — never customer, order or payment data.

How Sentraway works

01

Scan

Sentraway reads your product data and product statuses directly from Google Merchant Center, including every item-level issue Google has recorded against your catalogue.

02

Explain

Google reports problems as terse codes and attribute names. Sentraway translates each one into a plain-language explanation of what is wrong, which product attribute causes it, and what will resolve it.

03

Fix

Sentraway writes corrections back to the affected product attributes in Merchant Center, then re-checks the product status after Google reprocesses the item.

Examples of issues Sentraway explains

These are real Google Merchant Center issue codes, shown here to illustrate the translation Sentraway performs.

Google issue codeAttributeWhat Sentraway tells you
image_link_brokenimage_linkGoogle could not download your product image. The URL returns an error or times out, so the product cannot be shown.
missing_gtingtinThis product needs a barcode number (GTIN) because it is a branded, mass-produced item. Without one, Google cannot match it to the right product listing.
price_mismatchpriceThe price in your feed does not match the price Google found on your product page. The two must agree before the product can run.
missing_shippingshippingNo shipping cost is configured for the countries you target, so Google cannot show a total price to shoppers.

Why Sentraway needs access to your Merchant Center account

Sentraway cannot do its job without reading your product data directly from Google Merchant Center. Disapprovals and item-level issues exist only inside your Merchant Center account. They are not visible on your storefront and they cannot be inferred from it — only Google knows which products it has rejected and why.

Applying a fix has the same requirement. A correction only takes effect when it is written back to the product record in Merchant Center, which is where Google reads from when it reprocesses an item.

Sentraway requests exactly one Google permission:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content

This is the Google Merchant Center scope. Sentraway uses it to read your product data, read your product statuses and item-level issues, and write corrections back to the specific product attributes causing a disapproval.

We request no other scopes. Sentraway does not request access to your Google profile, your email address, your Google Ads account or your Google Analytics data.

What Sentraway accesses — and what it never touches

What Sentraway accesses

  • Product data you have already submitted to Merchant Center — titles, descriptions, prices, images, product identifiers and other attributes
  • Product statuses, including whether each product is approved, disapproved or otherwise not eligible
  • Item-level issues recorded by Google, including the issue code, severity, affected attribute and Google's own description
  • The Merchant Center account ID of the account you connect

What Sentraway never accesses

  • Customer data of any kind
  • Order, transaction or fulfilment data
  • Payment, payout or banking data
  • Personal or contact information about your shoppers
  • Google Ads campaigns, budgets or performance data
  • Any Google service other than Merchant Center

We do not sell, rent or transfer your Google user data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models. You can disconnect at any time, which revokes our access and deletes the data we hold. The privacy policy sets this out in full.

Works with any Merchant Center account

Sentraway connects to Google Merchant Center directly, so it works regardless of how your products get there — whether you sync from Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce, upload a scheduled feed, or push products through the Merchant API. If your products reach Merchant Center, Sentraway can diagnose and fix them.

Find out what your catalogue is hiding

Connect your Merchant Center account and Sentraway will show you every disapproved product, the reason Google gave, and what fixes it.
